In addition to our prescription safety eyewear manufacturing, we have now established ourselves as a competitive lens supplier to opticians nationwide here in Ireland.  We now have a supply of lenses here in our base in Athlone which ranges from the standard 1.498 Cr39 and goes up to the premium lens a 1.67 Cr39. 

Our position in the market in Ireland for safety glasses has led to increased activity across the board of Athlone Optical’s products and services.  We now offer Irish opticians a high class glazing service and also supply them with some good quality low cost frames.  Both of these businesses have become very much an everyday part of the life in Athlone Optical in the past year and we continue to grow these with the introduction new frames, price reductions and special offers.
